GREEN BUILDING FEATURES INCLUDE: Passive solar design for natural ventilation, passive heating and cooling and daylighting. Straw bale construction to conserve resources and divert waste. Reclaimed douglas fir for light soffits and salvaged/ reclaimed doors. Bamboo flooring, american clay plaster interior finish. High recycled content tiles and countertops. Photovoltaic (PV) solar electric array provides clean renewable energy to the site.
