These cabins were built to accomodate visitors in 2003 for $50/SF allowing the camp to become economically sustainable.

 

GREEN BUILDING FEATURES INCLUDE:

Passive solar design for natural ventilation, passive heating and cooling and daylighting.

Straw bale construction to conserve resources and divert waste.

Site milled wood from Monterey Pines killed by pitch canker.
